The service

passportphoto.digital converts a photo you upload into a document photo intended to meet the official published requirements of the selected document type, and verifies it against those requirements. You receive a digital file and a printable sheet after payment.

Free check, paid download

Uploading and checking a photo is free. Payment ($11.86 per photo) is due only when you choose to download the processed result.

Acceptance guarantee

If a photo that passed our checks is rejected by the issuing authority for a reason covered by those checks, you are entitled to a full refund of the purchase price. See the refund policy for the claim process.

Independent service

We are not affiliated with any government, embassy or consulate. Final acceptance of any photo is determined solely by the issuing authority. Our checks follow the officially published requirements at the time of processing.

Acceptable use

You may only upload photos of yourself or of a person who has asked you to act on their behalf (for example, your child). Do not upload photos of others without their consent. Do not use the service to create misleading or fraudulent identity documents.

AI processing

Photos are processed using AI. Processing corrects background, lighting and framing; it is designed never to alter your facial features. You are responsible for confirming the result still looks like you before submitting it to any authority.

Liability

Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid for the affected photo. We are not liable for consequential damages such as missed travel or application fees.
